How is the project run?

Government departments working together

Getting a Life is a three-year cross-government programme jointly funded by:

Department for Work and Pensions
Department of Health
Department for Business, Innovation and Skills
Department for Children Schools and Families
Office for Disability Issues

Each organisation made a financial commitment from March 2008 for the three-year lifespan of the project. No additional funding has been provided for services in the pilot sites.
